Local data and support
Numpad Remapper — Local Data and Support Information Buyer documentation / 2026-10-20 This document describes the Windows portable and Microsoft Store editions. See the LICENSE.txt included with your edition for the complete Japanese/English license terms. Stored information Settings include registered application identities and paths, profile and user-defined names, key assignments and the keyboard layout. The display language is stored separately. Recovery history and related files may remain as settings are saved or updated. Settings and display-language locations The portable edition saves settings in: %LOCALAPPDATA%\NumpadLeftHandDevice On a first Store installation, settings normally use this Store-specific folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\UrushigusaSoftware.NumpadRemapper_2w91vb42qzcdm\LocalCache\Local\NumpadLeftHandDevice If portable-edition settings already exist, the Store edition shares the settings in the following folder. Changes made in the Store edition are also saved to those shared settings: %LOCALAPPDATA%\NumpadLeftHandDevice In either folder, settings use localization-r14\settings.json and the display language uses localization-r14\display-language.json. Diagnostics Startup and operating diagnostics may be saved in the diagnostics subfolder of the locations above. Startup failures use startup-error.txt; operating records include per-run jsonl files. Operating diagnostics include run and version identifiers, process IDs, times, state changes and stop, release and recovery results. Some feature or diagnostic paths may include key-identification or output-result codes. Startup errors and application settings may include paths and user-defined names. Processing and transmission Assignment handling, foreground-application identification and input conversion run on the device. The OS, third-party components and purchase/download services may communicate over the network. Purchases, payments, distribution sites and contact services you choose to use are subject to their own disclosures and terms. Contacting support You choose whether to send settings or diagnostics. You may begin with the product name, version, steps and notice text; artwork, passwords or secrets are not required. Before sending a file, check application names, paths and personal names and provide only what is necessary. Redact a support copy rather than changing the live settings original. Contact: [email protected] / https://urushigusa.com/contact Retention and removal Portable edition Deleting the extracted app folder leaves settings, history and diagnostics in place. Other portable versions share that data, so check whether it is needed and retain a backup before deleting it. Microsoft Store edition Uninstalling removes settings and the display-language file in the Store-specific area. Settings and language files shared with the portable edition remain. Manually deleting shared settings also affects the portable edition. Exit the app completely before backing up any settings, history or diagnostics you want to keep. Paste each path above into File Explorer's address bar and copy each folder that exists to a separate location. If both exist, keep separate backups. See the Guide.en.txt included with your edition for restore, update and exit procedures. Uninstall through Windows Settings > Apps. Do not remove or change settings or diagnostics while the app is running.
