Conversations and edits

Conversation text, Thinking and edits are handled on your PC. This app does not automatically send usage or diagnostic information. Typing alone does not change OpenCode: only the selected content is changed after you confirm an overwrite or restore. OpenCode’s own communications and storage follow its settings.

Information stored on your PC

The Data folder beside the launcher stores settings, reference-folder history, drafts and saved restore copies. Drafts and restore copies contain conversation content. Successfully saved data remains after closing the app. Data from earlier versions is not migrated automatically.

To remove this information, close the app and delete Data. This does not undo text already written to OpenCode.

Diagnostics

The diagnostics window shows timestamps and results for up to 50 recent connection or failure events during the current run. These records disappear when the app closes and are not saved to a file. Detailed error messages are excluded from diagnostic records, but on-screen errors can include folder names. Check screenshots before sharing them.

Purchases and support

We use the content and reply address you provide to handle your inquiry. Normally, your app version, steps and observed result are sufficient. Please do not attach entire conversations, the Data folder or passwords. See support.

Purchase information is handled through the sales and payment providers’ systems. Please also read your purchase channel’s privacy information. Normal app use requires no proprietary license key or online activation.
